Privacy Policy

What we collect, exactly

• Newsletter signup: your email, double-opt-in — no confirmation, no emails.
• Vertical free lists: your email plus which vertical you subscribed to. Used for one sample notification and one launch notification per vertical; no other mail before launch.
• One-click cross-sell adds: after you subscribe, the success page and the welcome email offer the other verticals via a signed link (your email, base64-encoded and HMAC-signed so only we can honor it). Clicking adds you to exactly the lists you pick — nothing is added without your click, and each list keeps the same two-email promise.
• Aggregate event counters: we count actions (free-list signups, cross-sell clicks) as per-vertical daily totals to decide what to build. These counters contain no personal information — no email, no IP, no per-person history.
• Suggestion box: the text you send, and your email only if you include it.
• Prompt personalization profile (optional): the details you choose to enter at /profile (name, role, industry, company, team size, tools, tone, goal). Stored with your subscriber record in our email tool (Brevo) and in your own browser, used only to pre-fill your prompts — never sold, never shared, deletable anytime by emailing support.
• Account & sign-in: when you create an account we sign you in with a one-time "magic link" sent to your email — no password is ever stored. Your email is your identity. On sign-in we set a single essential, encrypted session cookie (HttpOnly, Secure) so you stay logged in; it is strictly necessary for the account to work and is never used for tracking or advertising.
• Account preferences & role profile: inside your account you choose which vertical emails you receive and (optionally) the same role/industry/seniority/company-size/tools/goals fields above. These are stored against your account, are used only to route your emails and auto-fill your prompts, are never sold or shared, and can be edited or deleted at any time from your account or by emailing support.
• Favorites & usage signal: the prompts you ♥ save are stored on your account so they sync across your devices. We also keep de-identified, aggregate counts of which prompts are saved and copied across the whole community to rank "network favorites" and decide what to build. That aggregate signal contains no email and no per-person history.

What we do not do

• No third-party analytics or advertising trackers; no non-essential cookies, so there is no consent banner to click.
• We do not sell or share your personal information (as "sell"/"share" are defined by the CCPA/CPRA). To exercise any privacy right — access, deletion, correction, opt-out — email support@promptsharp.ai ("Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" requests included).

Processors

Brevo (email delivery and lists), Stripe (payments — we never see your card), and Cloudflare (hosting). Each processes data only to provide the service.

Deletion

Every email includes unsubscribe. For full deletion of all records, email support@promptsharp.ai — processed within 30 days.

Children's privacy

PromptSharp is for adults and college-age students — it is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 (COPPA). Our Students vertical is written for college students (undergrad and grad). If you believe a child under 13 has given us an email address, contact support@promptsharp.ai and we will delete it promptly.
